I really want to hate these scopes. I got to play with one the other day. I was just blown away at how many features this scope has. The glass is clear and turrets seems to track very nicely. It truly boggles my mind that a ~$500 scope is making me question my MKV HD purchase.

How are they able to make so much scope for such a small price tag?

I'm assuming you have the SH4? I just ordered on the other day. How do you like it so far?
It's not mine but a close friend. Yeah it's the SH4. From the tracking tests I've done it's really reliable. Even when I ran it from top end to bottom out 10 times then took it out to 400yrds and it was almost right on top of the initial shot.

I don't think possibly sort of tracking during one sort of "test" constitutes "really reliable."

Everything on the Arken front is getting better. They are still a small and upcoming company for all intensive purposes. They are working their asses off to bring the most awesome products to all that will give them a chance.

There are also several additional items that are in development as we speak. They are a company I believe in and wholly support.

There is nothing else out there that can compare feature for feature at the same price point… period!!

Hey, I love the scope, it just will not track and I am getting no help from customer service . A simple phone call would be nice. Waited 5 month for scope. Don't thing a phone call is too much to ask. would even except a replacement scope, just one that tracks.

I did find out there is only 1 person that does all the correspondence from emails. Hopefully there will be an opportunity soon to add additional staff to handle all the questions that are coming up.

Hang in there gang, I know they are doing their best to take care of everyone!!

Hey Richard,

Here is the information that I got directly from the Arken Optics forum. Check it out.

Warranty

We back all of our products with a Lifetime Guarantee.

No warranty cards to fill out, no receipts to hang on to, and they are fully transferable from one generation to the next. Simple as that!

Email the details of the issue to Arken, at [email protected]. They will then assign you an RMA number and they will send you a Priority Mail shipping label. Just write up the details so they can check it out. Please let me know how it goes. Thanks!!

I am in the same boat, I received my scope last Saturday, and right out of the box there was an issue I documented with the rear ocular. I have tried to FB message them, I have emailed them and still not a peep. I am not trying to sound like an —-hole but I paid for an item that I received broken, from the factory. And going on 4 days of no reply from the no questions warranty. I fought hard in my mind to buy another brand scope but I wanted to give Arken a shot from what I have been seeing but at this rate I will be weeks into a deduction of funds from my account and nothing to show for it.
I feel that if there is a great warranty then paid customers should be priority vs up and coming customers.

Hey brother, I stumbled across this link on Arken's Forum..

I've not had to use it, but thought I'd share for ya. Might get their attention faster.

No, the Arken isn’t a MK5HD level scope, and I t was never intended to be. However, there is anything in its price range that can touch it!! I’m fact, it hits right along beside scopes costing twice as much!

The forum link worked for me and got a reply in a day. Today, on a Saturday so that’s a bonus.

I had previously emailed them and got frustrated but want to set that straight as it was sent to an old or incorrect email, so 100% my fault.

Update:
Someone from Arken kept good comms relaying someone else would contact me regarding the parallax issue. A day later or so I received an email explaining how to set up a reticle as troubleshooting prior to sending the scope back as this is a common mistake apparently. I explained that had been done correctly and the next day got an email with a return paid shipping label.

But you spent all those messages dogging Arken and their CS in my thread, and me for buying one, recommended others NOT buy one, and dog piled with the other clowns to the point I deleted my whole entire thread because I got tired of the stupidity, Frank wouldn't do shit about and allowed it to happen, and now you admit it was your own fault for sending it to an incorrect email address???

🙄

Never dogged you for owning one. I own one dumbass.
I said I emailed them 3 times in over a week and no response as well as texting their number, which they recommended on their VM and still haven’t responded to.
Yesterday I messaged them through a forum someone recommended and today got a reply. Good on them. No further comms after I replied to his message today.
I said on here “I had the wrong email initially and that’s 100% on me”. I didn’t have to do that but I’m a man about it when I make a mistake. I don’t want to mislead other. I went to do it on your thread but saw you took your ball and went home!

You’re a whiny brat that deleted a whole thread because you got called a name on an Internet forum by a stranger. Let that sink in. Now you’re on another thread doing exactly what you went and tattled on. Pathetic.

Idk why any serious shooter would buy junk budget scopes.
They’re going to break and then your down a ton of time diagnosing shipping rezeroing etc
I don’t think I’m a “serious shooter” but I bought one just to see for myself what it is about. Money isn’t really a concern but I’m not into throwing it way either. The 4-16 EP4 holds it’s resale good enough if it’s “junk” someone will buy it in a day on the PX for what I paid or likely more. That’s not really the point. I just like trying different scopes for myself, longer than at a range belonging to someone else.
Most of my guns have ZCO, SB or at least Jap glass. I also have a gun room with quite a few others. Not trying to flex or brag it just is what it is. At some point it’s ridiculous fitting everything with a $3k-$4k scope plus $400 mount, $100 caps, etc.
The Arken is on a $400 .243 hunting rifle that belongs to my 14 yo daughter for instance.
I hope you mistake this as a justification to you. Just my answer to your cynical, I’m sure, question. 🍻

Good justification I guess. I stick with Swfa or nigjtforce SHV for the beaters though
Maybe a leupold or other crap for a rarely used gun

Frankly, I get bored at work and buy shit to try out. I like the hunt of finding a deal and then seeing what it’s about but mostly just boredom.

I had to send one of my Schmidt’s in for repair, damn elevation turret bound up. It was some downtime and rezeroing. I have also sent in a 1980s (now) vintage vari x 2. Took some downtime and had to rezero my old standby hunting rifle. Both companies were great to deal with, not knocking their product in any way. I have multiples representing both.

On the other hand, my NF, ZCO and Arken have not yet experienced a failure, and I hope they don’t. Time will tell.

maybe I missed your point.
