Thats hard to read without geting the ol' lump in your throat.
Moderators, is there anything we could do, maybe make him an honorary membe of the site since there is a lot of military guys here?
Just thinking out loud. If anybody else has some little ideas throw them out there, I'm sure we don't have too much time though. Just something simple to brighten his day.

Damn, I think I got some dust in my eyes! I dont get choked up much, but that one did it. God bless our troops, and God bless Brennan.

Being a father that brings tears to my eyes. Not much can do that to me. God help that little guy.

Phenomenal to give that young boy a sense of achievement and pride when his chances are so grim. Must be the next best thing to cheating death itself. Prayers for him and his family.

Maybe some hats/shirts from "fellow" army units autographed/signed to him, now a fellow soldier? I don't know many that don't have a bunch of stuff like that all over the place. Or maybe a snipers hide shirt signed by whatever servicemen are in the vicinity to sign? Kids love shirts and hats.

I had the honor and pleasure of taking part in a similar event in the Corps for a Make-A-Wish child. He was about 7y/o and thought the Barrett was just the coolest thing in the world. It really doesn't get any better.
Hoping this kid takes a turn for the better. He sure deserves it.
