A few weeks ago, I posted a thread about having my son's 10/22 painted. He started shooting about a year ago and, as he has progressed and has shown consistent attention to safety issues, I've moved him along in what he shoots. As a surprise, I wanted to have his 10/22 painted and asked for suggestions. ARPredatorhunter pm'd and offered to paint the rifle. After talking with him, it was clear that this was the way to go. My son wanted a MARPAT-style pattern and we pick ARPredatorhunter's ARPaflage pattern for the stock and tactical brown for the metal. It showed up last week (in record turn-around time) and my son couldn't be happier.

This forum has never ceased to amaze me at how members will go out of their way to help someone out. ARPredatorhunter did just that for my son. His work is fantastic and his character is even better.

Wow nice paint job, also great seeing a young'n learning how to properly use and handle firearms from Dad. My Father started my Brother and me out by cleaning his guns after he'd spend a day at the police range training. My brother and I hated it and thought "what the heck, we didn't mess it up so why do we have to clean it", but I'm glad for those seemingly pointless tasks at that time because now that I look back I realized I learned how to safely handle firearms, break them down, clean and re-assemble properly. Then after we had that down pat he taught my brother and I how to shoot. Some great times looking back.

It was my distinct pleasure to paint the boys rifle and that picture of him holding the rifle just made my day for sure. I love it.

ARP... You Da Man!! And I don't just say that for the heck of it. It is something that is earned... and you did.

Nice paint on that stick, and the pride definately shows on the kiddo's face... absolutely AWESOME!!
