Hope everyone packed their cold weather gear. Looks like low temps in the low 40's. Highs in the 60's. Let see 40 degrees, 40MPH wind, Rain, and a ride on a fourwheeler, then a long sit in the fog on top of a mountain ridge!!! Lets hope not. The temps are true but looks like a nice weekend but as most of us know who knows up there. See everyone tomorrow. Brock

Another great match has came and went. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. Shooters contended with tough changing winds all weekend. Congratulations to our <span style="font-weight: bold">Fall 2011 match <span style="text-decoration: underline">Winner</span> <span style="font-style: italic">Tom Pohuski Jr.</span>!!!</span> <span style="font-style: italic">Moon</span> was right on his tail with a close 2nd place finish, along with <span style="font-style: italic">Josh Mann</span> and the rest of the <span style="font-style: italic">Pohuski</span> clan(Tom Sr. and Mike) rounding up the top 5. Congratulations for everyone who came, as we had a great weekend of shooting on the mountain. Thanks especially to GA precision for another beautiful rifle (this one built by Moon) on the prize table, and to FN USA for their contribution of an A5M SPR to the prize table. Also to Mcrees Precision, Manners Stocks, Grand river tactical, Eberlestock, Barret Firearms, and as always Peter Pi of Corbon for his generous contributions to our shooters(and for supplying on short notice the VERY nice items procured by J. Markwell for the RSO's

). There were many others contributing to the prize table and I will as usual try to get the list from Rod. Feel free to add any I missed. Next ASC in Spring 2012. I am looking forward to it.

Yeah Joe he shot extreamly well. Had he not just barely went over time on York after making 5 hits, he would have made the top 5.

Great time as usual and as always, the vendors stepped up REALLY big. I would like to thank Barrett and Zach @ Thunderbeast as well as GAP and FN for all they do for this match.

It's great to spend time with this group of shooters and leaving is always the hardest part of the match.

Temps were in the 40's to 60's really nice compared to the 80's and 90's down here


it was great to be back up on the mountain and shoot with everyone.

Thanks again to all the vendors and sponsors. Congrats to Kurt on winning that new GAP.


Rod, John, Brock, Matt, Trey, Emmit, Jeremy and all the others that help to put this match one, thanks again!!!!

the tenderloin was excellent as always, and Brock thanks again for the Mountain Shooter Sling, shot my best ever on Lindy

I had a really, really great time out there this weekend, and can't wait to go back. It'll be tough to top ASC, the angles, positions, winds all make it a really great competition, and a lot like a school. Everyone was very helpful when I needed assistance. Thans to Ace and Mrs.Ace for taking me under their wings and sharing their hotel, showing me the ropes, and calling corrections along with the RO's. Thank you again to everyone at the match. It was a pleasure to meet new faces!

I had the pleasure of talking to Joe Harper a bit at the end of the third day, and took a moment to say thank you for being able to benefit from his generosity.

If I could shoot only one match a year it would be ASC: Nothing else compares to it!

BTW - The tree line to Narrowback: 2300 yards.
