I'm not sure if this had been posted yet, but I just got word from a sales rep at Ashbury Int'l that the Saber-Forsst Mod 0 and Mod 1 chassis are now available through their distributor, TSSI.

I called TSSI and they confirmed that it is available. I asked for the Remington 700 Long Action chassis
Mod 0 is about $1650
Mod 1 is about $2550

Comes in black, foliage, and dark earth.

HOLY PILLAGING PRICE TAGS, BATMAN!!

While they look like excellent products to me, can anyone explain the extremely high cost on these units as compared to say the offerings from other companies like AI, McRees, etc. who are building chassis systems for a fraction of the cost? Does it really have THAT much carbon fiber in it?

Re: Ashburry International Saber-Forsst chassis

$1650 for the Mod 0 is high, but seems priced accordingly seeing as it's all aluminum and carbon fiber. Looks like a quite of bit of machining. What I don't get is that the Mod 1 is just like the Mod 0 with the exception of a monolithic scope base/ top rail for about $1000 more
