Well they want you to turn in your powder stores because they say you should to prevent their being another Lexington...

Not trying to push ANYONE, but for the sake of conversation:Not a hot weather person...I would miss New England winters. However, I do like Nevada. Spent some time there earlier in my life. Not a fan of Vegas but it has a lot to offer when you are outside of that area.
I agree but by just introducing it they guarantee the debate and idea lives on. They will get something out of it be sure of that. There is 0 percent chance of an assault weapons ban.

Agreed. The state level is where the danger lurks. At a Federal level...probably not. However, many states will enact them. It is a hell of a lot easier and the Anti 2A creeps get what they want.
Dick's sporting goods has joined the Partisan economy by banning the sale of AR rifles. So if you shop at Dick's your a dick. But you were a dick if you shopped there before the ban too. I think they should change their name to something more gender neutral. Like "It's Sporting goods".
Too many CA people in Tahoe.
I was born and raised in CA. Born in the Owens valley. It is so much more than LA and San Fran. It’s exactly like NY in the way that 5% of the state controls 100% of the politics. You go anywhere outside of those two areas and it’s MAGA all day long. That s because so much of Tahoe is in California...
Ca:
They’ve already effectively killed Internet sales. Some ammo like Prime is only available via the Internet, so you have to find a sympathetic FL there is going to let you send them ammo for pick up. It really sucks if you’re shooting matches.
It’s hard to be the weather and open spaces (a lot of people think it is all cities).. But 2 areas control everyone else in the state and it sucks!
Don’t think it can’t happen to you.. Gun control is death by a thousand paper cuts and starts at the local and state levels.

I was born in Bishop, moved to Laguna Beach when i was 7. Family still lives there.I lived in CA for 18 years. 14 in Newport Beach and 4 in Mountain View. Made a lot of good friends there but I couldn't wait to exit.
Gun control will be passed for certain at the state level. I live in RI now and have for 6 years. Really like it there. Small town with great schools and I have a really nice house...No restrictions on firearms other than NFA items.
However, all that is changing. They are trying to introduce an AWB Bill where everything is banned. It is identical to the one at the Federal level. I think it will pass in RI for certain. Bans everything semi-automatic. From the looks of it, will have to register all banned rifles to get to keep them.
I didn't register in CA and I won't do it in RI. Time to move again. NH is the only option right now unless I want to find a new gig. Really sucks
My wife’s family lives in Laguna Beach. We visit every year.I was born in Bishop, moved to Laguna Beach when i was 7. Family still lives there.
The funny thing is that I didn't want to move there. My wife said it would be good for our marriage.I feel real sorry for you guys that grew up in Laguna and New Port.... Horrible weather, hardly any cute women.... non-at all... horrible food...

Aaaaaaaand now cheaper than dirt has suspended all firearms sales. Good riddance.
oh yeah, they have been dead to me since Sandy Hook.Cheaper than dirt is and has been for a long time pretty much just the last part of their name.

.... they still suck tho.
Curious to know where you do your shooting in RI? I live in RI as well, and I really hope that your wrong about that bill passing in RI... its so frustrating to worry about your favorite hobby (and rights) that you've invested countless hours and dollars into, and meanwhile everyone just gives you shit and thinks you don't give a crap about innocent childrens' lives...
