Reno has nothing in common with vegas weather. I am just north of Reno and expecting decent snow this weekend. At a Federal level...probably not. However, many states will enact them. It is a hell of a lot easier and the Anti 2A creeps get what they want.
Dick's sporting goods has joined the Partisan economy by banning the sale of AR rifles. So if you shop at Dick's your a dick. But you were a dick if you shopped there before the ban too. I think they should change their name to something more gender neutral. Like "It's Sporting goods".

They’ve already effectively killed Internet sales. Some ammo like Prime is only available via the Internet, so you have to find a sympathetic FL there is going to let you send them ammo for pick up. It really sucks if you’re shooting matches.
It’s hard to be the weather and open spaces (a lot of people think it is all cities).. But 2 areas control everyone else in the state and it sucks!

I was born and raised in CA. Born in the Owens valley. It is so much more than LA and San Fran. It’s exactly like NY in the way that 5% of the state controls 100% of the politics. You go anywhere outside of those two areas and it’s MAGA all day long.
I lived in CA for 18 years. 14 in Newport Beach and 4 in Mountain View. Made a lot of good friends there but I couldn't wait to exit.
Gun control will be passed for certain at the state level. I live in RI now and have for 6 years. Really like it there. Small town with great schools and I have a really nice house...No restrictions on firearms other than NFA items.
However, all that is changing. They are trying to introduce an AWB Bill where everything is banned. It is identical to the one at the Federal level. I think it will pass in RI for certain. Bans everything semi-automatic. From the looks of it, will have to register all banned rifles to get to keep them.
I didn't register in CA and I won't do it in RI. Time to move again. NH is the only option right now unless I want to find a new gig. Really sucks

Turned out she was spot on. I divorced her...8 months later met my present Laguna born wife. Was quite a significant upgrade

I live in RI as well, and I really hope that your wrong about that bill passing in RI... its so frustrating to worry about your favorite hobby (and rights) that you've invested countless hours and dollars into, and meanwhile everyone just gives you shit and thinks you don't give a crap about innocent childrens' lives...

Yes they do. I'll never forget the $100 PMAG bs they pulled after Newtown. I had never bought anything from them before that time and I swore I certainly wouldn't after that time.
I shoot at Tiverton Rod and Gun (mostly .22LR, zero confirmation and dot drills since the range is only 200 yards) and I also shoot at a range in MA on Woodcock Road in Dartmouth. The Dartmouth range is owned by the City of New Bedford and they have 500 yards.
