At the Pooper Bowl

i will say, during the puppy bowl, i didnt notice any kneelers.....if dogs can show respect....the chimps have no excuse not to......

frankly i have better things to do...like learning to send morse code and build shortwave antennas......im sure alcohol and titties will work their way into my evening sometime as well.

This is the first game I have watched this season and I didn’t see anyone kneeling.

I was watching for it especially since the Eagles have been pretty bad about it.

The cameras have been getting pretty good at not showing it though and you have to wait until photos or other sources show the footage of the kneeling.

The kids wanted to watch it so here I sit.
It appeared the patriots as a team had their hands over their hearts and a left hand on the team mate next to them.
Philly had a few players just standing with their hands at their sides.
All helmets were off that I could see

eagles continue to show more class by " showing solidarity" with a rapper whos currently in prison for gun and drug charges........fucking scum, hope they all get CTEs

Mill was sentenced to two to four years in prison in September by Philadelphia Judge Genece E. Brinkley, who cited a failed drug test and the rapper's noncompliance with a court order restricting his travel.

Atta boy, great minds think alike....

Well, we won, but a bunch of narcissistic twenty-somethings who may very well be parking cars in fifteen years have managed to destroy my enthusiasm for the game. I can finally say that I understand full well what bittersweet tastes like after a lifetime of waiting for the Birds to take the big one again, and then see a championship won by a team whose members, in a large part, stand as individuals for values that I find foreign and offensive.

Veer, Congratulations! Pure and simple! Enjoy! Sincerely, I am happy for you.

I don’t watch the NFL except for the Super Bowl most every year (I’m a huge college football junkie). I’d wager there are a lot of people just like me in that regards.

This year was easier than every other year not to watch regular season games because of all the pregame antics (kneeling, etc.).

That being said, I did watch last night. All in all, I think the entire experience was very weak. The commercials were not that great, although I did like the Kia one with Steven Tyler (only because I’m a big Aerosmith fan). Poor Pink couldn’t hit the notes on the National Anthem (which is a shame because I think she is a very talented vocalist). The guy who sang America the beautiful did a good job. It was neat to see all the MoA recipients on the field for the coin toss, but it felt sort of contrived considering all the BS that went on during the season.....kind of like they were placating the base. Halftime was really weak in my opinion. I am more or less ambivalent in my views of Justin Timberlake. Sometimes I see flashes of brilliance in some of his performances (the duet with Christ Stapleton comes to mind), but usually I am left thinking “I don’t see what the big deal is”. Last night was no difference. Perhaps I am getting older and less able to be impressed.

Like I said before, I don’t really watch NFL, but I was amazed at how poorly the Patriots played on defense. That isn’t meant as a slight to the play of the Eagles’ offense, but the tackling and everything else on the Patriot’s Defense was atrocious.....fundamental type stuff. My father in law and I kept saying that this one would come down to the last play, and it sure did. I am also surprised at the lack of pass interference calls. Perhaps the rules are different in the NFL versus college, but there sure seemed like a lot of interference going on.

Congrats to all the Eagles fans out there. I’m sure you guys are proud, and you should be because the team played well.

All in all, it was nowhere near the top 10 Super Bowl experiences I’ve ever had. I found myself googling cars for sale on my phone and checking these forums more than I did watching the game/commercials.

The NFL is definitely in decline and I will be interested to see the Nielsen ratings.

I started this mess as I was wondering if there were any kneelers at the Big game? That is all I wanted to know.
I have not watched a single snap this year nor attended any games, even though we own season tickets for the Broncos, and this is the first Super Bowl I have not watched or attended.
I gave away or sold all of our tickets but still own the rights so can buy them again next year if they get their heads out of their asses or I may just sell the whole bin of shit off if they don't.
I am a disabled Vet and could not support those Kneeling Reggins after my friends and brothers and I gave a lot, and some gave all, to have these Special Snowflakes" 'Dis My Flag."
It is my opinion that if the players really wanted to do something they could use their own money to make changes.
Von Miller has and puts glasses on lots of kids at his expense and my hat is off to him, and I don't think he is a Kneeler either. FM
