Athlon Ares BTR - Turret markings - is this normal ?

Both seem to not line up.

OP, there are two turret fastening systems in the Ares BTR. The older version has set screws in the turret, in this case it's as easy as loosening them, orienting the turrets to exact zero, then GTG.

If you have the latest version, which has a large coin slot center screw on top of the turret, in this case there's nothing to be done at the consumer level that I know of, thus necessitating a return of the scope to the Co. FYI, the 4 Ares BTR's I have been around line up perfectly - both versions!
 
I've not bought any of the Ares BTRs since they changed to this style turret knob - mine all have the set screws. But the new Midas TAC has the coin-slotted knobs, and the one I've bought so far (6-24x50) lines up perfectly. It's on a new V-22 Ranch, and I'm liking it a lot in that application. The two Ares BTRs I've got have the same style, coin-slotted turret caps, and they both line up also.
