Sidearms & Scatterguns ATI FX.45 GI question

I recieved an ATI FX GI from a friend for a gift. I was wondering if anyone has this pistol if they or someone who doenst could answer a couple questions for me.

I would like to change the sights out for better sigths. Possible? Which sights? Gunsmith work only?

What magazines does it take? It right now has a 8 cap mag.

Also, this is my first handgun and after i shot about 25 rounds i collected my brass to examine it. There are burn marks on some, everyone has a ding in the edge of the neck and some have scrathes about half way down on the side. Is this normal?

I did not take pictures and will have to go back out and shoot some more and take some pictures of the brass.

Is it posible to lighten the trigger?

brass is normal

what you have is just a cheaper 1911, it takes 1911 mags, I like Wilson Combat mags.

sights and a trigger job are doable, not by you, w/ your experience, but doable, call a gunsmith.

Ok thank you. I know its a cheaper gun. A good starter gun.. Plan on getting a target 45 this year and probably a custom next year at some point.
