Is anyone running one of these suppressed? My paperwork for my Sparrow cleared yesterday and I am wanting a pistol to plink with. My main concern here is reliability with bulk ammo and I like the feel of 1911 pistols. I have two SW model 41 that are great to say the least. I was looking at where Accurate Ordnance has threaded the 41. I may do that on down the road. Local shop has one for just over $400 out the door. The adapter is about $30.

I have a Sig 1911-22 (which I think is the same thing as the GSG) and run a Huntertown Arms suppressor on it. I haven't had any major issues with bulk ammo. My wife and stepson have misfeeds, but I think that's more to limp-wristing it rather than a bad pistol/suppressor/ammo combination. I don't seem to have those problems when I plink with it. I've shot it with Blazer, Remington subsonics, and bulk Federal.
