So I am considering buying an atlas bipod when funds allow. But my problem is I have a Choate tactical stock which has the bipod rail...is it possible to mount the picatinny rail where the original bipod rail is? Anyone ever tried this? I guess if I was stuck with the Harris style bipods it wouldn't be so bad.
Thanks

Re: Atlas bipod and Choate stock?

if you only have one sling stud theres a weaver picatinny adapter available search it up I forget where to find it. If you have two sling studs in the front check B&T's website they have rails that screw into the sling stud holes.

Re: Atlas bipod and Choate stock?

The rail has a sling stud that slides up and down it. I wonder if you could remove two of the screws holding this rail and use those screw holes to mount the rail for the atlas?

Basically the same setup as in the link above except I utilised the existing slider.
