Will an Atlas bipod attach to a regular ole bipod stud? I see the AI spigot and the picatinny rail mount... is that the only way to run one of these gucci bipods? Fill me in..... please!

Nope...it will NOT work on a standard swivel sling stud...you need a picatinny rail section.
Accu-Shot, Seekins and others make rail sections for installations on stocks like McM, Manners, etc.

You can get an attachment that will attach to your "harris" type stud and turn it into a picatinny rail. If you have two studs on the fore stock you can unscrew the studs and screw in a picatinny rail that will attach to your Atlas.
to my knowledge Atlas will only work on the AI spigot or picatinny rail
