I've been looking at possibly upgrading to an Atlas bipod. Is there a way or is there a mount that I can use on a single sling stud? Or does it have to mount to a 1913 rail?

Re: Atlas bipod mounts

I recently added the rail to my Rem 700 Sendero and was very apprehensive about messing with the stock, taking the barrel off, & hoping everything went back together correctly.
I got the 4" rail to ensure it could accommodate whatever I would possibly want to attach in the future.
Luckily I purchased a couple of the Atlas bipods before they started selling to military/LE only. (They may have changed their policy back to civilian sales by now)
After it was all done everything was pretty easy and is much more use full.
Good luck.

A Seekins Rail allows you to attach the sling to the end of the rail.
