I just bought an atlas bt10 for my rifle andapparently didn't do enough research before I bought it. I bought the one with the two clamps instead of no clamps as I have a spigot adapter for my AICS. Does anybody know if I can screw the normal bt10 to the adapter or do I have to get the bt10NC instead. Thanks, mike

    Re: atlas bipod question....

As far as I can see from my V8's the only difference between the V2 spigot version and the QD ADM version is possibly the length of hex bolts that hold the clamp or spigot in place on the main body of the bipod.

If I've understood the version you have correctly, I'd think all you need is the correct adaptor and bolts, loosen off the thread lock and replace the existing clamp with the spigot adaptor.

I believe that information is incorrect. The spigot version (bt10nc WITH ADAPTER)and the QD mount (bt-10lw17) as well as the no-clamp (bt10nc) can all be interchanged. The regular clamp (BT10)cannot.

    Re: atlas bipod question....

I talked with Kasey and I just ordered the Rails that mount to the spigot adapter (BT19) so I can use the BT10 and mount it to a rail (BT20 attatches to BT19) that is mounted to the spigot adapter. Can add 2 side rails also but probably won't.
