Has anyone disassembled one of these? I’d kind of like to switch the legs between two (I have one with long legs), but don’t want to destroy anything.

I'm confused, you have a "tall" version PSR or CAL that your wanting to swap the legs OR are you wanting to make the ones you have into the tall version?
Yeah, probably not worth it. I just really wonder how bad it could be in there.
Well speaking from experience I took mine apart before I found it voided the warranty and finding the video on how to clean it on you tube. It’s not that difficult it’s just their way of ensuring quality and functionality. Perhaps @Kasey can expand on the why.
OP, you can contact B&T [email protected] and make arraingements for B&T to swap the legs at a nominal charge. IF that is what you want as you did not answer my question b6grahm offered a possible answer.
Why we don't want people taking our products apart, the reasons are many, but lets just say that saying "NO" is easier than explaining how, doing videos showing how, reviewing pictures of "attempts", making arraingements for returns, removing broken bolts, replacing parts, etc. Sincerely, gun guys are the most independant "can-do" crowd there is and because of this, even with us saying "no" we still deal with such issues as listed weekly..... You will have to trust me, we could not afford to tell people "yes".

Sorry, was working. I have a short CAL and a tall PSR, would prefer a tall CAL. It’s not a huge deal, I do have the extensions but they’re just not quite as solid.
I can totally understand not wanting people to take stuff apart. I was just curious. Most of my job consists of cleaning up after the mistakes of others, so I do feel your pain.
Don’t get me wrong, they aren’t wobbly or anything. They just aren’t totally perfect. I’d probably still get them if you need the length.
OP, no worries, we will swap them for you at no charge or we will replace the short for talls at a minimal charge.
That’s awesome. You guys really stand with the best in terms of design and customer service. I will be in touch about the legs, and I think this pushed me over the edge to get a 5H.
