New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Anybody try these yet? I have a set of the cleats, I do like them but they do tend to roll up on their sides and roll when you load the bipod heavy. Seems this would be a nonissue with the spikes.
I got a pair of spikes for my Atlas, but not from Kasey. Design is the same, and they definitley work. DOn't try the on your car hood, but they are sturdy everywhere else!!
What do you mean they tend to roll up on their sides? I just bought the Atlas Bipod and curious about the feet. Other than the obvious portion of not using the spiked feet on cars, what other terrain are they used for? Can the rubber feet not handle everything already?
I got a pair of spikes for my Atlas. They are nice and have a certain purpose, but I do not see myself using them for what I do. PM me if you want a set.
The claws are round and when loaded hard they tend to turn on their side. At that point they will roll forward. The rubber feet are really good especially on flat hard surfaces such as textured concrete.

The rubber feet will also roll when the bipod is loaded.
I've found that the rubber feet with a quality shooting mat provides a very solid platform. It won't creep, won't jump, so I've seen no reason to replace em. Kasey got it right the first time, IMO, although I'd still like to try the cleats and the spikes.
