Okay we got the spikes, (our part number BT37 - Atlas Spike foot) from the shop while I was away at SHOT.

The Spike portion is Stainless Steel and it is mated to our standard Foot Insert so they will plug in and out of the Atlas.

I put a quarter besides them to give an idea of size, Spike is 1.45" long and the large OD is just under an inch, cost is 49.95.

We should have them up on our www in the next 48 hours.

Although I can appreciate the intended purpose for these spikes, I'd really love to see you also market a steel pole about 5' long fitted so these would attach to one end. LOTS of uses for such a rig (LOL)!

I would give these spikes a try. I have used my cleat feet in loose soil and wet grass and they don't do well in moist environments. They seem to fold up and skid.

I'm wanting a few sets of the spikes!

Re: Atlas Spikes - Part # BT37

Thanks guys, we did a small run of these BT37 - Atlas Spikes and we are close to being sold out.

Regarding the group buy, that was made by a couple of other SH members, one being the manufacturer, and they did so with my blessings. And furthermore, as far as I'm concerned, they can continue to make their version of the Spike for the Atlas.

The irony, is our version was in line to be run (6 weeks into the 8 week wait) when theirs were shown and offered. And just for clarity and to make sure no one screams "copycat", our print is dated 2007. We have not shown this print around and fully believe the other manufacturer struck upon the concept on his own.

Just got my spikes for Atlas, great job Kasey. When you say spikes you don't mess around. Might check to see if you can ship these to Calif., Mass, Ny etc. They can't be legal to own

Re: Atlas Spikes - Part # BT37

Very nice design. I have the Atlas claws, or I'd order a set of these in a heartbeat. Atlas continues to deliver great designs, innovations and quality.

Just remember to take them (or the claws) off before setting up on the hood of your department's new cruiser. ;-)

Cheers,

Sirhr

PS. No, I didn't make that mistake... yet.
