Atlas Super CAL with BT66 Bas Sky Feet, advices?

I don't load the bipod. I keep the rifle in the shoulder with enough pressure to keep a solid rifle/body connection. The point is to let the feet track naturally backwards upon recoil. Sometimes I find I will have some pressure on the feet and they will bind, or let loose a bit during the shot sequence. I try to alleviate this by getting into position and then make a couple small/short slides back & forth with the whole gun.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
What bipod do you use?
Does it have rubber feet or skids?
You shoot from the bench or prone?

I can't decide whether to buy the Atlas SuperCAL or the AccuTac FC5, precisely because of the different design of the skids.
