i've had three ATN devices
PS-22, this was Gen 3 NV clipon ... sweet spot 4-6x magnification, usable up to 8-10x with some "fuzz". Main problem was the unit was not collimated. I sent it back to ATN and paid $150 for them to collimate it. But regardless of which gun I ran it on I was 3.5 inches low and 2 inches right at 100yds. Studying on this, I saw others complaining about this same symptom. I eventually sold it. I was able to use it. I clipped it on to the front of an AIM SPORTS 3-9x scope and carried that around as a handheld monocular and it worked fine in that role.
ODIN, 1x, 17mm, 320(30) ... this is a small thermal with a pvs-14 form factor. I still own this thermal and use it all the time. I would say this is a good unit. And considering it is 5+ years old, I have no issues with it. It is fixed focus at infinity. I have mounted it on my helmet beside one pvs-14 and ride around on my 4-wheeler at night with lights out and it works great. I have seen and ID'd moving yotes out to 500yds even while I was moving myself.

I use it with the UNV IRD Battery pack, it fits, it works. This means I can run it on my head with a USB battery and with that battery it lasts for many outtings.
I got an IR-Patrol in Feb 2018. So now I primarily run the ODIN on my .22LR with the PRI M-69 mount. It has all the basic FLIR reticles we had in the Armasight thermals. It is very usable as a weapon site on the .22lr. I use this for assisting in control the local rat population.
So, I would rate the ODIN as a real thermal. It is certainly not as good an image as the newer Trijicons and Pulsar Trails, but it is totally usable and I have no plan to sell it.
THOR HD 1.25x-5x 320(30) thermal weapons scope. This one was terrible. I did a full review in my "practicing" thread back in Nov 2016. I called ATN CS twice, I performed all the actions they suggested. As an example on black hot, there was no image period, no matter what adjustments were made, No image. I followed the final suggest CS gave me, I returned the item.
