Ive got my new .260 and im ready for load development so to save time and money im going to try my first ladder test.
Im going to be using necked down 7-08 win brass fed 210's 123gr sie hpbt's
Ive got some RL-17 and some H4350, my question's are what are appropriate charge weights to start with?,and should i test with my bullets jammed even if i plan to shoot them at mag length?
I know rl-17 isnt very popular in .260 but when i picked up my rifle my smith gave me a target with a 5 shot group in the .2 range and he said he shot it with 44gr of rl-17 and 123gr sierras jammed, at 2900fps and no pressure signs.
