I trying to put together a group buy through CDI for a detachable box magazine bottom metal. CDI makes bottom metal for Savages, Winchester, and Howa. The bottom metal accepts AICS mags. He needs 15 pre-orders so he wont loose money making the set up perfect. CDI bottom metal for other manufactures is about $200. Along with getting increased round capacity, you will also be able to increase you OAL in the mag. As I was told, "Un modded 308 mags oal is about 2.830 or so. Take out the reinforcement strip and go to 2.950".

I would be definitely take 1, possibly two after I see the finished product.

That's assuming CDI would be willing to send to Australia.
