Availability of 6.5 Creedmoor Brass?

I have been looking for 6.5 Creedmoor brass at various sites on the web and all are consistently back ordered. Does anyone have some insight as to where or when this brass might become available?

From previous posts there seems to be a recurring theme that the best way to find 6.5 creedmoor brass is to follow match shooters and pick it up or buy loaded ammo.

Spoke to Lapua & they have no plans to make 6.5 brass.

Bummer on Laupa. Not that theres anything wrong with the Hornady brass other than its lack of availability.

Buy just enough loaded ammo, shoot it, and reload several times it until your back ordered brass comes in. Usually 3-6months from past experience.

If you can't find 6.5 CM, you can usually find 30 T/C. It is the same thing with a .30 cal neck. Run it through the die and you're good to go.

Why buy the brass only..... Buy the loaded ammo in 140 Gr amax and shoot it. The accuracy is great. You should be able to find box of 20 for 23-24 per box.

Believed to be currently in stock at both places.

I keep a few boxes of new loaded ammo for back up just in case I can't buy brass only.

www.gunstop.com has it listed in stock. Sign up for a catalog and their email specials they have had it listed for $31 a box at times...
