Rifle Scopes Availability of Faclon Menace Scopes

I have noticed that the Falcon Optics site has been MIA for quite some time. Are they planning on closing down?

I wanted to get the Falcon Menace 4-14x44 FFP with MilDot to mount on my .22 CZ Varmint.

Where do you guy's usually buy your Falcons from? The only site I have come across is www.opticswarehouse.co.uk. Are they the only one selling these?

I received a personal email when these puppies were back in stock a few months back.

I haven't heard anything about the company folding. Their website was down for a long time. Not sure what to say to that. Their scopes are pretty nice though.

I got mine from Liberty Optics but they no longer list Falcon Scopes at all. For the price it's a good scope.

Well, I had decided on the Bushnell 10x40 but the lack of parallax made me change my mind. The Menace looks like a very good value for money piece of glass. I have never looked through one, just read reviews, but they seem to be pretty well liked.

Also, they are available in Mil/Mil and FFP without braking the bank. $312 is not a bad price all things considered when you look at the specs.

I just got one (mil/mil, FFP) and am very impressed with the optics and adjustments for the price.

I have no input on longevity, and am mounting it on a 22 trainer.

You might consider the Wotacs. www.sightwonders.com

Seem to be about on par with the Falcons from the reviews I've read. And the warranty I believe is lifetime (or as long as that shop is around), which beats the Falcons.

Thanks for the input, but the only Wotac scope available in Mil/MIL is the fixed 10x40.

I think I'm going to go ahead and order from opticswarehouse

I've been looking for places to get a falcon 4-14x44 also, and come to the same conclusions as far as opticswarehouse. let us know how the process goes for you. oh and just curious, are there any other charges besides a hefty shipping fee from the UK when ordering from them? thanks

I just picked up my Falcon Menace 5-25x50 from Irvington Arms in Fremont California. When I ordered mine he had at least one more in stock of the 5-25x50.
