JRH Enterprises PVS14 WP3 3rd Generation WHITE PHOSPHOR autogated monocular. 1900 FOM Minimum (use the drop down menu for a 2200 FOM model option. For the 2200 FOM option use the drop down menu and put "1" in the text field.

PVS14 3rd Generation Night vision device with WHITE PHOSPHOR AUTOGATED Elbit systems thin filmed VH GRADE tube, standard military Carson housing and glass for optimal quality. All standard accessories. This special 9/11 batch utilizes the higher graded "VH" grade of tubes which are even better than the SLH tubes we normally use in the WP3 models.


Many people think the White Phosphor (WP) tubes offer better visibility and resolution in use over normal green NV tubes.

Minimum specifications- most ship with better than these- This is the NEW 1900 FOM model, you will receive a unit with 1900 FOM or higher (most of the "1900" grade in this batch are actually well above 2000 FOM. "FOM" is Figure of Merit and is a calculation of Resolution X Signal to noise ratio.

2200 FOM (minimum) models are also available, use the drop down menu at the listing above to order those or CALL to order. Most units in the 2200 FOM range in this batch are 2300 or higher.

Can these be used with a red dot?

Sure.

So assuming you mean will they see a red dot- yes.

Two ways to play, 1 good 1 not so good-

1 not so good is the idea of mounting the 14 directly to the rifle and looking at your red dot there. Technically "can" be done up to 5.56 but isn't really a good idea. Even with "NV" settings on the red dot still the NV tube staring at a bright source for an extended period of time (your red dot) can be a problem.

Better way to play- head or helmet mount the 14 and use it via passive aiming to sight your red dot. You may end up needing a riser to get the height you need, but it's going to be a helluva lot better solution than mounting the 14 directly to the weapon.
