AW .308 mag fit AICS?

Hi,

I have a remington 700 .308 with an AICS it fitted.

A mate has two 10 rd mags, .308 calibre, for an AW rifle, in .308 calibre., that he doesn't want.

He is about 2000km from me, so I can't check physically if they will fit my rifle. The AI website lists the AW mags and the AE/AICS mag as different item numbers.

Does anyone know if the AW mag would fit my AICS, even if minor modification is required?

Will AW mags fit you AICS, yes they will.

Will they work on a Remington without modifying the internal mag feed rails and feed ramp, unfortunately not. It's not impossible to make work but isn't a straight forward install mate.
