AW barrels

Did anyone find out at shot show why AI distributors will not sell replacement barrels for AW and AWSM without having to send in your rifle?
It's good George still does, but I am just curious as to why.

George makes Bartlein ones and Mile High has Kriegers ready to go. We are still ok.

Like I said George still does mine " no sweat" but MH will not ship anyone a barrel anymore. I am curious as to why that has happened. They want you to ship your rifle.
By he way no other distributor will ship barrels either.
