Three years of training. Was awarded my First don (degree) today.

Congrats. You are now just beginning

. I received my 1st degree in tae kwon do in four years when I was a teenager. I went on to receive a 2nd degree in YESHUA'S RYU Karte Do, and a 1st degree in Koryu ( traditional Ju-Jitsu). I'm still a beginner with so much to learn. I have been very slack in training the last few years, because I just don't have as much time to get to the dojo with working, and going back to college. I'm now a little out of shape LOL.

Keep up the good work, and expand your knowledge!

Working with great grandmaster Lee has been extremely humbling. He is 100% "Old School". No short cuts.

Congrats!! And I also appreciate your attitude as far as knowing you don't know it all. I have taken several martial arts classes and I always run in to those black belts that "know everything". So again congrats and always keep learning.

Welcome to the club! Congratulation on your first degree black belt. I was told by my Master over 20 years ago, that you are now ready to learn. Three degrees later, I am still learning. Be humble.
