Got a few new 10rnd ax mags, first few rounds are really resisting when feeding. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm assuming polishing the feed lips with dremel or some fine grit sandpaper? Someone on another post mentioned 400 grit. Was hoping for more feedback. Thanks

Re: AX 10 rnd mags stiff feed

Have a few new ones myself that I will be testing out tomorrow around 10am. Is it a mag issue in the well or a an overtight spring that may need to be worked a little.

Seems to be more problematic on the one that came with the rifle, the two I got today feed easier. The first two rounds I really have to use some elbow grease. Seems to be the spring issue and I'll have to put some extra mileage on it.

Are the rounds too long? Tips rubbing as more are loaded on top of them and they are pushed down into the mag?

Is it hard to load those last few rounds into the magazine? If you only load 5 rounds into the magazine and try then is it still hard or is it only on the first couple out of 10 rounds?
