Hunting & Fishing AZ Hunting

Ok so I got my first elk hunt in AZ and it only took me 5yrs to draw the tag..Actually it took more than 5yrs cause i never put in with the past few deployments. So my problem is I won't be getting any scouting in before the November hunt..Anyone familiar with 7E just outside of Flagstaff? I know Payson and White Mountains, not Flagstaff. Any help would be appriecated.
