Will be at Ashfork location. $25 entry fee. Distance from the muzzle to 1100ish yds. 40rds COF. 8am sharp. Please email me at [email protected] if you plan to attend so that I have a head count. Directions can be found here.

Hit percentage will be higher than the last match. Temps should also be nicer and we will be done around 1300. Bring a lunch up if you like and we will be around after the match if you want to shoot afterwards.

Tim and I are gonna pass this time around Brad. He's promised to take me to Fremont Street while we're in Vegas on the 3rd. Don't think we'll make the early wake up call.

Please bring any sets of binos or spotting scopes. We will have target transitions on the clock and it will help to have a spare set of eyes out there. We just put 10 new targets out along with the ones we already had out. Each shooting station will have its own targets. Every target is at least one moa and most are 2 moa. Average yardage for each station is A=592yds, B=566yds and C=616yds but it also has the long one at 1090ish.

ahh, sending in my scope for repair and deff wont have it in time. Oh well maybe I'll finally be able to catch the next one (there's always an excuse, right haha)

Awesome. I'm bringing the new 280AI, if I can get a load worked up by Thursday. I'd like to see what the 162Amax @ 3000fps or so will do.

That was fun today, thanks to all who put it on.
I hit the mile with Steve123's 30-375 Ruger woohoo! (and came real close with the 6mm turbo)

Nice to see some new faces out there.

It was a great time! Now if for the next one, I request no wind...And maybe I will learn how to count revolutions on my scope, so I don't miss my first three targets by miles.

I had a great time out there today. What a great group of people. I wish I would have done better, but I learned a lot and had more fun than I expected to. Thanks for making the new guy feel welcomed and giving me pointers out there. I look forward to more of these!

We had to change the date for the October match due to a conflict with GAS. We have moved it to the weekend after GAS. October match will be on the 9th. We will also have the 1760 target out afterwards if anybody wants to shoot it after the match. It was a blast for all to make attempts and even hits with guns that should not have made it a mile. October will be from 150ish to 1100 ish, COF will be 40rds, Ashfork location, starts at 0800 and please email me ahead of time so that I have a head count.

Thanks for the congrats guys. This time around I used my old Horus Predator backup scope using holdovers only. It must be a good luck charm or something.

Great shooting Cory on that 1 mile steel with a CB hit right in the middle! likewise Brad with 5 in a row with a 6.5-06 in the wind no less and only 130 grainers! Also with Bobby getting 2 hits at 1080Y!

Thanks Steve, pretty good shooting your own self. Now that it's moved, I should make the next one as well.

I'll bring the tuned up 285gr loads for the 1 mile next time and try a group. I may even have two more rifles delivered by then to test out.

Brad, did you get that spreadsheet with all the target ranges and bearings?

Hopefully I can come out to the next one. I'll be the idiot trying the mile with my 308(just gotta figure out a way to squeeze 116 MOA of elevation out of my scope+reticle).

BTW what was the magnification set on that spotter used to see the mile shot in the picture above?

There were shots on target with a .223 at 1 mile. Defiantly a fun day of shooting!
The spotting scope pic was somewhere between 32-45 on my spotter (didn't pay much attention to where it was at)
