B&C Medalist Tactical/Varmint stock Question

New to the site but an old shooter. I have built and shoot rimfire benchrest rifles and have done a lot of hunting and want to get more into long range target shooting.

I am in the process of building a Remington 700 Varmint in 308 Win and had a question about stocks.

Is there any converse opinion about the Bell and Carlson Medalist Tactical/Varmint stock besides being lower cost and not up to a McMillan? I have not decided on what stock I want and am trying to find more info about the B&C stock.

In short, nothing wrong with a B&C stock - I've been rocking one for years and it's been great. That said, a McMillan or Manners it is not.
