i bought a bergara barreled action in left hand and will right away take off the 18in factory and chamber myself a shilen ratchet barrel. My question is I am planning on using sk ammo. What chamber should I go with and why?

You probably know there’s a lot more to it than what reamer.
I run a Bentz chamber but it’s chambered short to match the ammo I shoot. Shoots really well with 3 or 4 options. Won’t work with some ammo.
Match chamber same deal. Just depends on what your looking for out of it.

Not SK Match but close to it, so hard to find ammo you want these days.

This will be the first rimfire we chamber so we are learning as we go. I’ve read a lot of good things about the 52D reamer and the bentz

If you plan to shoot SK/Lapua, I'd be inclined to go with the Nevius.
The Kreigers on this Rim X & B14R have Padom's Eachus chamber and my smith's own reamer which specs. very similar to the Nevius.
Here's a 10X5@50M shot with SKLR with the B14R during the initial test firing - Barrel has 2,300 on it now - Consistently very accurate and action runs flawlessly with the match chamber.
This rifle will reliably extract a live round with this bullet engraving.

I just had 2 B14Rs, one LH and one RH, rebarreled with shilen 16tw on a win 52D chamber. This is my results. I did not clean between each set so lube mixing and seasoning will be a factor between each set. You can use this info however you like

This is at 50yds, occasionally 2mph left to right wind but waiting between the winds.

Each group is a shot of 5 and the SD/ES is the total sum of all 5 groups.

*note the Eley match group on the bottom and top, I accidentally grabbed the wrong lot box and shot on the bottom, so I shot the correct lot on top

**note-note, I forgot to mention, both rifles will not extract loaded Eley rounds since their rim design is different. I did change the springs for the extractors which helped a little but still have a tough time with it. It will extract fired cases with zero issues. SK has no problems whatsoever.

I’d be more than happy with those results !
