Back up sights ,and aimpoints ?

I see some of you guys are running backup on your rifles with aimpoints .My question is can you see them with a aimpoint mounted ? Magpuls mainly.

Yes

You will see the term co-whitness which refers to the mount/optics being on the same plane as the BU sights.

Look into some Rapid Transition sights...Surefire makes some. I think that is the way to go...

I run an Aimpoint t-1 on a Larue Mount.

I run a magul BUIS.

The answer is Yes, I can see the rear sight and the front sight (A3) just fine.

Yes.
My Aimpoint CompM4/Larue mount works well with the fixed front and Magpul BU rear.
