i love the design, 4 lug action, great trigger, folding chassis, fast lock time. I would love to find someone that imports these to the US. </div></div>

It has some good things to it, but I'm not a fan of the blocky stock.

Re: Badass rifle!!!

There used to be an importer but cannot remember the name, only the action were brought in though. I have seen a couple of them at local highpower matches. Nothing fancy, if you want a real badass accurate action, the Barnard ( new zealand) are fantastic. They come with one of the best triggers too.
hope this helps.

#2 is pretty nice though, that flush 3rd mag is sweet as well.

I've heard great things about RPA but can't say I've had the pleasure.</div></div>

really to me looks alot like the ashbury stock. you think it is clunkier than a aics stock?

It has a shroud to protect face from bolt, great pistol grip, many attachment points and a 20 degree bolt throw!!!

Re: Badass rifle!!!

a company called "weber" used to import them but RPA is swamped with military contract. That is what i was told. I have not comfirmed this.
the barnard action is only a tri lug if you need a project, or you could just get a TRG 22, also a tri lug and be done with it
hope this helps.

Re: Badass rifle!!!

just hung up the phone with weber, they are out of action and won't get anymore ever. RPA company changed owner and they are done with weber, he didn't elaborate.
they have a few 50 actions left, they weight 14lbs!!!
sorry about all the confusion i caused.

RPA have a stellar reputation here in the UK. I believe that various UK Police forces are using RPA rifles in their TAC teams. (RPA Interceptor)

They started out as target rifle makers, but like everybody, they have moved into the tactical realm.

If you <span style="font-size: 14pt">REALLY</span> want an RPA, I'm sure that something could be arranged........

Re: Badass rifle!!!

My friend has a RPA Rangemaster 308. It is an awesome piece of kit but very heavy. Out of the box accuracy was under half an inch at 100, muzzle brake works very well and the trigger is spot on and easily adjustable. Pretty expensive here in UK, about the same as an AI AW, some of the 50cal versions are being used abroad currently.

Re: Badass rifle!!!

Meet them in the IWA 2009 and 2010 really nice people I was really impressed with their rifles especially the 0.338 and 50 BMG the actions looks real good and the chasis is reallry well thought, they tried to get export license to Israel but could not get them never mind as soon as they become GBistan I m sure it will be easier to aquire them from dead insurgents.

Re: Badass rifle!!!

Quadlock actions are not available at this time as I tried to buy one a few weeks ago. Maybee I will try to locate an importer but I havent had time to do so. Barnards are pretty nice and offer a repeater with a remington footprint. MT guns offer the actions but that guy is a pain in the ass to deal with but he does have the stuff instock. I think Quadlocks were right around 15-1600 for just the reciever and trigger hanger???

Re: Badass rifle!!!

As I understand it, Creedmoor took over importation of RPA actions after Otto Weber. I was able to get some parts for my Quadlock (F Class gun, sorry...) firing pin spring washers and an extractor kit from Creedmore. At that time they were not expecting any more RPA stuff to come in due to price increases from exchange rates, etc.

It wouldn't hurt to call Creedmoor (1.800.273.3366) but when they did catalog RPA, it was just the Quadlite and Quadlock actions, not assembled rifles.

Neither the 2009 or 2010 catalog has any RPA stuff.

My Quadlock is in a MasterClass stock with a 30" Bartlein 5R chambered in .260 Rem and has the RPA Gold two-stage trigger it came with, and even though it helped me get to Master in F Open Longrange and High Master in F Open Midrange I would question the sanity of having a repeater built on a 4 lug action. The bolt lift is the heaviest of any rifle I've ever owned.

Hope this helps -

Paul
