Gunsmithing Badger BM inletts

Can anybody tell me if the hinged M4 and DBM M5 bottom metal stock inlets are the same?

No the M5 is a little bigger but if you have a M4 cut-out you should be able to trim it up to fit the M5

thanks- that's exactly my situation. Is the trimming a minor dremel job? I'm sure it would be clear as day if I had the whole works in front of me.

Yeah the M5 is just a little larger and only in certain places. With a steady hand and a Dremel it can be done.
