Badger Coaxial Range Finder Mount; will this work?

I have the Badger rings with 2 screws on each side, 4 total per ring.

Will these mount fit on one of the rings? The extra 2 holes on each side of the mount are confusing me. What the hell are they for?

It's for the ring cap you took off, it mounts upside down behind the ring to provide extra support.

Ok that makes way more sense. Couldn't figure out WTF the extra holes were lol

Sorry to bump up this old thread, but it looks like there are two options - 306-155 which is the aforementioned part, and 306-32, which is the 6-screw model that will mounts to something like 306-76. I'm wondering which is better?
