Just say NO to Optics Planet.
BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints concerning delivery issues, product issues, and refund/exchange issues. On 2/4/2021, BBB submitted a written request to the company encouraging them to address the pattern of complaints. As of 6/9/2021, BBB has not received a plan of action to alleviate the pattern of complaints.

Optics Planet is like a bad dream. We obviously overlap in certain categories, so take my observation with that bias. First, you will get zero customer service. For a part like the EFR, maybe you do not need it. On principle, I just avoid them.
But, for those who will shop there, check the availability. They are notorious for taking orders on a hope a prayer that they can shop and find the product somewhere. But, they disclose something like: 3 to 8 months, in their availability. If they tell you "in stock", it generally is, to be fair.
On a different note - <beginning of obvious commercial message>- we will be carrying the M40A3 and A5 chassis, as an in-stock item, as well as all hardware. We will mostly focus on the PGW EFR, but also carry Badger. We need to spec Badger or PGW when we order the stocks, so we are looking at 70/30 in favor of PGW. Our goal is to have all the parts and you put together or hire a gunsmith. We have much of the parts now, but need to expand our offering a little.
We are a stocking Badger dealer, but do not have the EFR listed, but have it coming in a few weeks. If we can help you with either, DM me. <end of obvious commercial message>
