For those of you folks running a Badger Ord AR Rail, I have a few questions.

What rings are you running and what optics?
Are you using a BUIS? And which one?
When you remove your your rings/optic, does your rail block any sight for a BUIS?

I've got my Mega MA-Ten Mono that right now has Magpul MBUS sights, a Warne RAMP mount and Leupy MK2 3-9x40 scope. I've been contemplating selling my 700 SPS-Tactical but keeping the scope which is a MK4 3.5-10x40 and using it on my Mono. I've got the MK4 mounted in Leupy MK4 Med rings and have been eyeballing the Badger Ord Rail. That or getting an AMD mount and being completely done. What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are the ADM mount so that if I choose I could use a different optic (Micro RD) or swap between other AR platforms. But I've been eyeballing the Badger since I like the idea of one gun for one optic. I can use my existing optic and ring and only be out less then $100. Anyways, help me out. Thanks,

Re: Badger Ord AR Rail

How often do you really swich out optics or pull them to shoot with irons? If your like 99.99% of the world then you really dont.

So why spend the extra cash unless its because you like it. Nothing wrong with cool toys. I dont know how practical it is though and adding more parts is in general less desirable.

I have the Badger 22MOA riser and Badger rings. I just did the math so the total height was the same as my bolty with Badger rings. IIRC they are med but its been a few years since I bought them so not to positive on their measurement.
