Looking for a good softmware set up, mixed reviews on Sierra,s Infinity, how about Nightforce, or the "freeware" stuff. Anyone have any info on what they suggest?

Field Firing Solutions was recommended to me by members here. Other are patagonia and exbal. Others with more knowledge will be along shortly.

Google Search (see my signature) is your <span style="text-decoration: underline">friend</span>. There's been <span style="text-decoration: underline">lots</span> of discussions on various ballistic calculators, their pros and cons, etc. Do a search - you'd be amazed.
Coincidentally, many (including myself) are happy with Bullet Flight and Ballistic FTE (in that order) on iPhone/iTouch, Shooter on 'Droid, QuickLoad/QuickTarget and Patagonia LB3 (you may have problems getting to technical people there - I couldn't) on PC, FFS (Field Firing Solution) as a standalone PDA/GPS.
Then if you like tinkering with software - there's free (under GPL license) GEBC that you can make working. I was going to polish it myself, but didn't find enough time - and Bullet Flight does the job for me so why bother.

Thanks to all for the info,I have found it helpfull. For now i think I will try a "freeware" for a bit. G7 seems to work well for me, although when i feel like spending $, patagonia looks good.
