I am a software developer and I have created a basic ballistics app for a few different types of mobile devices. I had some questions for the heavy users of guns, that are interested in ballistics. ( My Hunting Calculator , iPhone version in the works)

That said I am looking for information that I can use to decide what new features I should add to my application. I am curious what the hunting/gun enthusiast is looking for in an app that they can use while they are hunting or shooting.

I wonder if there is any other type of feature specific stuff you would like to see on a ballistics application for your mobile phone? Like for instance in my next version I am thinking about adding a maximum point blank range calculation.

Basically, what do you guys want to see in a smart phone application that would actually be useful out in the field?

thanks in advance

Re: Ballistics App Input

Basics: temp, wind values and speed, drop compensation, mil/mil adjustments, moa/moa adjustments (ref to distance), spin drift is cool if you are pushing out there to over 1000 yards, and all this tied into the caliber, bullet, and grain you're shooting! Good luck with the software!!
