The neighbor should be euthanized or deported out of the county, not the cat. Some people just need to get a life.
The real story is (as usual) government is run amok at all levels. I just thought it was funny clickbait.
The neighbor doesn’t have a flash light and pellet gun? What is the country coming to?

But you know the lowest level idiot Government workers will seize on any opportunity to shove their crotch in the citizens face to make them "respect my authority".
Charging a cat with "trespassing" that is just well.... a simple explanation why I prefer animals to humans on any given day.
If the neighbour is that upset about things, they can just get themselves a big hunting dog or two, but on second thought, probably wouldn't want to curse a good dog with an idiot human like that...
It sounds like those "Animal Control" bastards were purposely trying to be as evil as possible to show how powerful they are.
Free roaming hunting cats are a good help in the war against rats taking over the place.

1. A ban on selling water in any container smaller than 1 gallon
2. Leash law for cats
The water bottle ban passed so now you want to get your kid a drink while walking to view the bridge they either have to pack the whole gallon jug or will drink a nice healthy bottle of Coke.
The cat leash law didnt pass. Im sure it was a clone of this "neighbor" that put it on the ballot.
