WPG. I am not selling anything here so I just speak kind of openly. Took a look at your website
http://www.upinarmsdesigns.com/ and I liked it.
Your comment, "At the ripe old age of 14, I was given the option of either working in the family jewelry store for the summer or working for a friend of the family," reminded me of my own youth; except, my family owned nothing but a small farm, and had nothing but there was a jewelry store in my small town, so I kind of, see your point about business you can generate on the internet and Sniper's Hide. That's great!
It's like some kind of wierd cycle. Band Of Brothers was a great series about actors portraying real men and now people with video software are renditioning vignettes for internet actors renditioning the actors of real men as real men. It took me a second, but the irony is first rate.
Once, I scheduled a meeting with a University president to show him that my rubber M-16's were rubber and that I would paint them orange so as to not scare the populace when the midshipmen ran with them. He laughed, and agreed. The next day, emergency phone calls were placed, and some professor argued strongly that "yellow" was the only color that was acceptable. Knowing in my heart his logic, I refused and instead ordered rubber RPG's to run with instead. This is how I define parallax.
Granted, this was/is the most GAY friendly college in America. The Gay Nude Peace March on the day the US Marines began their advance on Baghdad pissed me off greatly. Now..... I know people are civilized these days and more and more accept that the asshole is a vagina, but I DO NOT! I am sure that this behavior happens everywhere and I know that people just love Chapel Hill so I will not speak of the college I mentioned.
So continue to sell your jewelry.
While I throw glitter...
