Does anyone have any comments or opinions on Bark River knives and there knives made out of A2 steel. Was suprised that they use different steel for different series of knives.

Re: Bark River knives and A2 steel

I have a bravo 1 from BRK that is made from A2. One of the best blades I own and I have quite a few. Cleaned four deer, baton more then a few 3" or so diameter trees and is still hair popping sharp. not sure how well it would take an edge since I have never had to touch it since new.

Here is an idea how tough they are. Hours of cross baton wood and still shaves.
