I have never been much on Barnes bullets. I have tried a bunch of them over the years, but never could get any better performance from them. Even though they were ridiculously priced. This was one product here i felt that you did not get what you paid for. But that is just an opinion.

Now it looks like bog brother Remington has sucked them up. Are they sucking up everybody??

I wonder if it will follow the tradition now of higher prices and lower quality, and more imports?? We will see.

I do know one thing if I did like and shoot Barnes bullets I would be stocking up heavy. Tom.

Re: Barnes bullets---Now Remington??

From my experience with Barnes bullets they are not the most accurate. However, for minute of critter they're on. I've shot deer with them from 30 to 289yds. and have yet to recover a bullet yet. There are 2 schools of thought on that. But as far a that TSX holding together, don't ever doubt it, they retain almost all of their weight. As far as them being bought by Cerebus, yes it is true. Remington, Marlin, Bushmaster, DPMS,.....
