Had a GREAT outing this weekend with my Savage 110 BA .338 Lapua. Shot some MatchKing 250s, Berger 300 Hybrids, and Barnes LRX 285s, using several different loads and lengths with Retumbo and AA8700, HSM brass and Fed 215 primers. The Barnes bullets absolutely delivered: .6 moa at 407 yards in fog that made it very interesting to find a sight picture. Watermelons became "pink mist." And inch-thick iron plate that was only dented by the Sierras and Bergers was positively HOLE-PUNCHED by the Barnes bullets. I am pleased.
