Barnes LRX for 1:12 twist?

Mapping a potential build and bullet here...

Considering getting an AI AT .308 with 1:12 twist.
Also looking at pairing that with a ~175 gr all-purpose target/hunt bullet that I can (mostly) hit steel at up to 1087yd range. I don't compete, at least not now.

Couple questions:

For that bullet, I was eying the Barnes LRX 175 gr. JBM says that at 2600fps, that would go subsonic at 1200, which would be fine. Problem is, Barnes is listing that bullet for 1:11 twist or faster. Curious what your thoughts are on using that bullet in a 1:12 twist.

Alternately, do you have other recommendations for a target/hunt bullet?

Berger vld hunting, Hornady ELD-x, Sierra TGK.

I've never used the Barnes 175LRX in a 308 but I do use it in my 30-06. It's a 1-10 twist so I'm not sure how well it would work in a 1-12. The Barnes bullets are LONG. You will have to seat it quite a bit in the case to fit a magazine, which will reduce powder capacity.
