I'm pretty new to this stuff, but I have learned a lot in the last few weeks. I have a Reminton 700sps-v. Do I need to break in the barrel in anyway?

Depends on who you talk to many will say yes and some will say no. I would say there is no need to. Get practice. Clean at regular intervals. I've never understood why to so called "break in" a barrel, but that's just me. Do what you want its your rifle! You will get mixed answers here.
