What is the difference in weight between a bartlein .237 bore 5r 24”medium Palma, 24” Remington varmint and 24” marksman contour? The rem varmint is a .830 at 26”, medium palma .820 at 30”, and marksman .870 at 28”. Thanks

Sorry, not going to do the math for you. The info you desire can be obtained from the above resources, but you may need to do some basic volume and density calculations to figure weights of barrels shorter than what is listed.

In all honesty i cant tell much of a weight diff between a med palma and marksman. Both balance the same too. Varmint cant tell a weight diff but balance point seems more to the rear. All with equal bbl lengths. Just my little input.

I pulled a couple barrels out of the gun safe and weighed them on a postal scale. At 26" in 6mm caliber the Marksman is 5oz heavier than the Rem Varmint contour. The balance point of the marksman is a bit farther forward toward the muzzle than the varmint contour.
