I recently purchased a WOA 18" barrel to put on an AR-15
(swappin bbls). After I had everyhting together and was finished tightning up the Larue Rail I went to drop the bolt and Charging handle in and the bolt was hitting the notches in the bbl extension, almost like the extension twisted and the bolt would not line up.
So loosened everything up and the bolt fell right in but as soon as I added the littlest bit of torque it got hung up.
I spent 4hrs trying to figure this out with no fix.
That is untill I (for the hell of it) dropped my (auto) carrier in I just got from Bravo Company USA.
It fell right in with everything tightened up!?
I dont understand why the DPMS (chrome) bolt carrier assembly would not fit but the (auto) carrier from Bravo Co. did.
I sure it being an "auto" carrier had nothing to do with it.
I have built about 6 AR-style setup rifles and never had this problem. At first I thought the bbl Ext. was loose but that was not the case.
Anyhow everything is GTG now. But I still dont undersrtand why that happened.
I woulda had pics to show but I was to pissed off and set on getting it fixed.
Do you know why this would happen?
Ill get some pics up of what it looks like finished.
