I am going to do a new rifle build. This rifle will be used for Tactical long range events. I have decided on the .260 caliber. Can someone tell me what the perfred barrel length is on this caliber and twist rate?

Would 28-30 inches be frowned upon for any reason? Also, is there somehow a particular contour that seems to favor the 260?

1:8 - 1:9 ... Faster for shorter bbls, Slower for Longer. I like a 26" heavy Varmint for my Tac rifles. 140's @ 2880
